Index Queue failing to flush automatically.

    • Environment:

      Standalone with MySQL backend on a Windows server 2003. JDK j2sdk 1.4.2_10.
      Clients are using Windows 2K with IE6.

      Symptoms: the list of "Recently Updated" items stops being automatically updated
      This seems to be caused by a reindexing problem

      Solution: the only solution at this point is to reset the server (not only the service) - this is painful and needs to get solved.
