Bandana cache not flushed when site backup restored

XMLWordPrintable

    • Type: Bug
    • Resolution: Fixed
    • Priority: Medium
    • 2.6.1
    • Affects Version/s: 2.5.7
    • Component/s: None
    • Environment:

      Backup created in 2.2.10
      Upgrade to 2.5.7

      Problem:
When upgrading from a 2.2.x version to a 2.5.x version, the configuration info (Administration -> General Configuration) does not appear to restore correctly. After restarting Confluence, it appears.

      Steps to replicate:
      1) Install 2.2.10
      2) Modify general configuration
      3) Create backup
      4) Restore on 2.5.7
      5) Check general configuration

      Assessment:
It appears that this may be due to configuration info being stored in the xml file confluence-global.bandana.xml as opposed to on the BANDANA table in later versions. This info is not reloaded into active memory.

      Workaround:
After restoring backup, go to Administration, Cache Statistics, and click 'Flush all'.
