Hello,

There is a problem with the Table of Contents plugin bundled with Confluence:

v2.4: Does not work for Japanese links at all
v2.3.2: Japanese links work with IE, but not with Firefox. However, links with English text are fine.

I believe this is due to the known issue with how anchors are generated in Confluence 2.4. This was reverted in Confluence 2.5.1.

Also, the problem with TOC 2.4 not working in Confluence 2.4 was corrected in TOC 2.4.1.

Can you confirm with your japanese data that this still exists from 2.4.1?

Hi Rob,

Yes, the problem still exists in Confluence 2.4.3.

We are planning to test this again on Confluence 2.6 with v2.4 of {TOC}
based on suggestion from David here: http://jira.adaptavist.com/browse/TOC-35
