Auto backup is not working

      Tomcat 5.0.18, MySQL 4.0.18, JDK 1.4.2_03, RedHat 7.3 Linux

      Auto backup is not working. Only 1 auto backup is created, while Confluence is running 3 weeks.
      A lot of files/dirs (export_xxx_xxx) in ConfluenceHome/temp directory.
      Also I don't see any option to configure time of backup or something other.
      No visible exceptions in Tomcat log about backups. I have a lot of exceptions about database (MySQL), so too difficult to find out any other. But no 'backup' word in exceptions.
