Tried on upgrade and new install. ${generalUtil.buildDateString} is missing, and I see this in the footer.

Hi,

from my point of view this problem is a consequence of this issue:
http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-7573

So applying the workaround mentioned there shoud help here, too.
