A working example of the problem can be found here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/diffpages.action?originalId=1016036&pageId=163783

This shows the differences between these two versions:

The most obvious is the first column that has been emptied out in the red and green sections, which are clearly there in the page output when viewing the two versions directly. The differences in the first column is that v27 contains a few links on the version number to the release notes, and v28 contains all the available ones linked.

Version 28 was the latest at the time of filing. C.A.C was also running on Version: 2.3 Build:#640 Dec 29, 2006.

The reason I perceive this to be a critical flaw is that I (and probably many others) use this diff view to find out what has changed in large pages, rather than having to try and work it out myself by reading it all again. I need to be able to trust in the accuracy of the change log - that said, this is the first time in a long time that I've noticed any problems with (also the first time I've checked, though).

Fixed.

This seems to occur when there are consecutive lines of either added/deleted words in the diff.
