Template stops working once you've edited it once

      I created a template, and then selected it and the fields appeared to come up correctly. I decided to rename some of the variables so I went back to edit it. After making a few changes to the template when I went back and attempted to use it none of the variables showed up. It appeared as though the template wasn't being applied.
