When you search for a Japanese string (say 2 kanji characters), the search results should not include hits where only one of the characters is matched. The 2 characters is a unique string (a word) and only full matches to this string should be included in the search results. Please see attached screenshot.

Neeraj,

I've linked this issue to the two things that need to be fixed in order to resolve it. We'll be right on it.

I'd just like to add that if we fix this issue, Sony Computer Entertainment will buy the license for the JP version of Confluence.

Neeraj,

We've added the CJK indexing language to 2.2.5 (you'll be able to select this from the General Configuration page). However, we'd like to point out that your screenshot actually shows a correct search - the result you circled is not a partial match (its a full match on the title of that page - please check again). Although we do admit that there seems to be minor bug with the code for highlighting matching terms in the body of the matching documents.

Cheers,
Dave
