Display of comment section remembered by page

XMLWordPrintable

The comment section of a page is displayed if the link "Add Comment" or the link "X comments" (where X is the current number of comments to the page) at the bottom of the page is clicked. This is fine. Unfortunately this is not remembered on a per page basis. If subsequently another page is viewed, its comments section is also displayed. And worse, the input focus of the browser is in the "Add Comment" text area, so the browser automatically scrolls down to the bottom of the page when it's loaded. To get rid of this behaviour one has to click "Cancel" in the comments section. After this comments are again not displayed on any subsequently loaded pages.

Ideally this would be remembered on a per page basis. Per default the section should be hidden, but if it was displayed before for a certain page it should remain visible on subsequent visits until explicitly hidden again.

Alternatively the comments section could remain hidden on all page loads until explicitly requested to be shown. But hidden again on subsequent visits.

But above all, the "Add Comment" text area should only reveive input focus when explicitly requested.
