I use JIRA for user/group management, so the user browser in Confluence doesn't allow editing of users. But the group browser shows the "Add group" box, which fails when trying to add groups. Shouldn't "Add group" be hidden like "Add user" is when using external user management.

Some clearer documentation might be helpful here as well on that "External User Management" means. In my case, I want to use LDAP (i.e. an external user management method) to manage valid users and passwords but I would like to keep my groups within Confluence (not pull them from LDAP).

I'm not sure how that matches up with the thoughts above.
