If you create a page with dangling links to images, save it and then edit it as wiki markup then the link is lost.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new page with the following content:

2. Save the page.
3. Edit the page, note in the default "Rich Text" tab the link is present and hilighted red because the file doesn't exist.
4. Change to the "Wiki Markup" tab. No link.
