Confluence 2.0RC1 causes constant reloading in firefox 1.5 beta 2

I upgraded to 2.0RC1 this morning, loaded my backups and all seemed to be fine. I started authoring a new page and all was still fine. However, after I created a 2nd new page that was a child of the 1st new page, then whenever I try and edit a page (doesn't matter whether it is new or old), Confluence is constantly refreshing the page. This behavior is not evident in IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 (WTF kinda version # is that?!), nor was it evident with Confluence 1.4.4.

I have restarted firefox and deleted all cookies relate to the server that cnfluence is running on to no avail. At this point my only solutions are to go back to confluence 1.4.4 or use IE for editing pages.
