According to the docs:
Creates a line break. Not often needed, most of the time Confluence will guess new lines for you appropriately.

In reality,
just shows up as two backslashes on the page. Which is good if you want to document a Windows Share, but bad if you want to include a line break. (I'd like linebreaks within table cells, in particular.)
