If a user goes to http://confluence.atlassian.com/ they are deposited on the dashboard screen, which is really useful for regular users but confusing as hell for random visitors (and not really good as a site homepage). It would be much better if they started on CONFDOC:Home

Site Administrator should be able to assign a "Site homepage" from a drop-down menu including the dashboard, and the homepages of each space that allows anonymous access. Anonymous users going to the site root will get the homepage, logged in users will get the dashboard.

If privileges are changed to make the site homepage not accessible to anonymous users, this config should be automagically reverted to the dashboard.
