It would be great if there was a way to be notified when an attachment is viewed. Viewing could happen when it is clicked on and downloaded, or it could be when an attached image is loaded on a page (eg. '). Basically, any time the attachment is served from Confluence.

This would make it possible to write an plug in which, for example, tracked the number of times a particular file was downloaded. A complementing macro could then report that statistic on a page somewhere.
