Atom 1.0 has just been released, and the Atom WG are asking everyone to use 1.0 and drop support for 0.3.

Confluence should, some time in the next six months, transition from generating Atom0.3 feeds to Atom1.0 and remove support for generating 0.3 (it should still be able to parse 0.3 in the
