Confluence page gadget viewfile macro requires a refresh to re-size correctly

      Contents of my Confluence page:

      {viewpdf:name=3.2 Webinar.pdf|width=500|height=500}

      When I try to embed this page in JIRA for the first time the gadget size does not render correctly (see attached image)

      When I refresh the whole dashboard page it works
