Installing a Java Web Start Confluence client would be cool. One that would allow offline editing. Like Lotus Notes, a replication stage would sync the client with its server.
The full blown server is downloaded with JWS, just one that is tied one of a few dominant remote server (we'd need to switch between say local copy of Codehaus versus corporate). The user clearly, navigates to a http://localhost:nnnn address while in local mode.
