According to Confluence's documentation at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Remote+API+Specification, blogging support methods are still on the TODO list.
Would it be possible for you to give some sort of guesstimate as to when this might be implemented?
(And if you could consider bumping it's priority somewhat higher, that would of course be highly appreciated!
