Priority:
Medium

Affects Version/s: 1.1.2

Component/s: Search - Core
When Confluence runs a quick search, it fails to catch any text which may have been auto-placed there by a macro. For example, if you use a macro as such
{motto}which simply replaces {motto}
with
It's All Good
and then do a quick search on Confluence for "It's All Good," the search will fail to find all instances of "It's All Good" which have been placed there by
{motto}. This significantly damages the performance of the quick search capability.
Also, I have noticed that when attempting to search within a certain powerpoint document for specified text, confluence fails to grab it. However, it seems to work fine on another powerpoint. The problem may be macro based as well. I'm going to post the powerpoint here and hopefully you guys can figure things out.
Best of luck!
