I'm using Confluence 1.3.5 and one of my users just noticed that he can't change blog titles. I'd also like to see this feature available.
As the creator of this issue suggested, you can copy the body of the blog post into a new entry, but you can't copy the comments easily! The issue is not primarily in the renaming (which is trivial), but in refactoring any links to the existing news item. There is a nasty problem with our link-renaming code that makes this harder than it should be. Once we fix that problem, news renaming should be trivial.
Does this mean it might get fixed soon?
It means I've just resolved three different duplicates, so yes that's pushed it higher in the priorities.

What sort of timeframe should we expect for this? Thanks, M. Done for 2.6
yay. wow, that was a vintage issue....
Well.. it's flagged as resolved but I can't really see any option to rename the title..... Doh - I see now - I'm using 2.5.4...
As I guess you've noticed, Paco, this feature is available in 2.6. Thanks for watching.

Particularly because we have loads of snip-snap imported blog posts whose titles have been munged by the importer (due to confluence char restrictions for page titles...)
I think the capability is there - but just not exposed via the UI?
Next version pls?
