Description
It appears the mechanism by which we locate an MBean server in Confluence 2.8 at the moment is not compatible with weblogic 8.1 (which apparently has a proprietary helper for such a task).
This results in a error like this in the logs:
com.atlassian.config.bootstrap.BootstrappedContextLoaderListener failed: org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'exporter' defined in class path resource [jmxContext.xml]: Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is org.springframework.jmx.MBeanServerNotFoundException: Unable to locate an MBeanServer instance
This appeared in a customer's upgrade logs.
This is not an issue in Weblogic 9.x.
