I'm trying to configure Confluence to utilize the JIRA user management and I'm getting an error on startup.

I followed the directions at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Delegate+user+management+to+use+JIRA+logins to the letter and I'm getting the following error on startup:

Confluence fails to load; JIRA comes up fine but nothing can be accessed for Confluence.

This is seriously impacting my company's decision to purchase Confluence, which we have an immediate need for.
