    Description

      Based on the NotSerializableException on shutdown documentation, currently, Persistent Manager Implementation is being used in the Tomcat's server.xml configuration between the <Context> tags. However, there is a warning message outlined in the documentation here that stated:

      WARNING - Use of this Manager implementation has not been thoroughly tested, and should be considered experimental!

      Indeed, Confluence is being tested against the Persistent Manager implementation and it seems to work fine.
