Bert,

Thanks for the bug report.

Can you please attach your atlassian-bamboo.log file to this issue so we can debug it further?

Also can you tell us what JDK you are using? Is it Sun JDK?

I have looked more into this and I have discovered that I am running on the Java that is attached with ubuntu and that is not an Sun Java. I'll try to change this and I'll post you about the result.

When I have maked sure that I use a Sun Java (1.5_06) all worked fine, as far as I had to remove the bamboo-home directory files.

I think that information about this kind of issue should be added into the installation guide.
