Bamboo currently allows only for manual backups which is ok for the occasional visit to the admin jsp and doing upgrades but not for a production system. Build a task that can be scheduled to backup to a particular path in regular intervals and runs without manual intervention. (like in JIRA).

Didn't realize this wasn't included! Went to configure it assuming it would be similar to Jira or Confluence, but not there! This will be critical feature for us when we go into production in a couple of months.

This really needs to have the option of just backing up the configuration and historical data in the database. If this exports all the working copies of all my builds every night, it will be backing up constantly and take up way too much space. Plus, I have a source repository to backup my source, don't need Bamboo to do it.

Hi,

A scheduled backup tool has been added to Bamboo. You will be able to specify a when, where and how often the backups occur as well as whether or not build artifacts will be backed up. This feature will be included in release 1.2 (coming soon!)
