We currently have a team of 7, 3 testers and 4 developers. We are polling every 3 hours for builds to the test server. What would be nice is to be able to specify specific polling times, for example 6am ,9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm.

This means that when the testers see an issue resolved in JIRA they would be able to predict when they will be seeing that fix on the test server.

I realise that with notifications they can also do this, but there is a subtle difference in they can structure their day around a predictable schedule rather than having to work out - ok last build was at 10.17am, so the next one is going to be at around 1.17pm.

Please ignore the comment above - it should have gone to BAM-400

Hi Mark,

We have implemented a build strategy that uses schedules for the next point release. Right now you need to use Cron Expressions which isn't ideal but should serve the requirements you need.

Let me know how this goes once 0.8 has been released.

Cheers

Ben
