The page/tab to define a Perforce repository could be improved.

The main field which seems to be either unnecessary, or at the least very confusingly named is "Depot".

The first question is why this field is necessary at all. Given that you have a client workspace specification why don't you just sync the whole thing? After all, if you want to change it, just update the client workspace??

If this field needs to stay, then at the very least it should be renamed and a much clearer comment inserted. In Perforce a depot is an entity created with "p4 depot" command - what is currently described is veyr confusing for any experienced Perforce user.

Given that what is required here is the client view path from the client workspace, can I suggest:

Name: Client workspace view path
Description: The right hand side of the desired client workspace view, e.g. //fred_ws/main/...
