when the server encounters an error (something that would end up in the error area on the main page) it would be nice to use the existing notification mechanisms (email, jabber, etc) to notify server administrators

had a problem with one project where a merge>rollback>merge on the source repository ended up with some residual files that caused the subversion update to fail

the build in question got disabled but didn't report a failure
